ArrowHealth uses only AABB certified labs.  Our labs are CLIA certified and ACLASS Accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) for DNA testing and analysis. To ensure our laboratory's top performance in all aspects of our testing services, they participate in several voluntary accreditation programs. These programs verify the reliability of equipment, qualifications of laboratory staff, and the soundness of testing methods and standard operating procedures.

Results

DNA Testing results are typically returned within 3 to 5 business days of the samples arriving at the laboratory.  The result of a DNA test is either exclusive or inclusive (with the person in question being considered biologically related). For a standard paternity test, the results provided are at least 99.99% probability of paternity for inclusions or 100% certainty of exclusion. 

Non-invasive DNA testing methods

ArrowHealth utilizes Buccal swab testing technology for all DNA testing. This is also known as cotton swab testing, as the Buccal swabs resemble Q-tips. This test is administered quickly by gently rubbing swabs inside the cheek.
